You may decide which individuals or groups can access the MED-V workspace, as well as how long the MED-V workspace can be used for and if it can be used offline, using the deployment settings. Additional rules can be configured to manage access between the MED-V workspace and the host.

The Policy module’s Deployment tab is where you specify all MED-V workspace permissions.
To enable users to access the MED-V workspace server, add domain users or groups to the MED-V workspace permissions. Permissions can then be assigned to each user or group.

How to create a new user in the Domain server

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
  2. In the Active Directory Users and Computers window, expand <domain name>.com.
  3. Right-click Users, point to New and then click User.
  4. First name – Type a first name for the account.
  5. The second name – Type a Second name for the account
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Password box, type a password for the account, and then in the Confirm password box, type the password again.
  8. Select User cannot change password and Password never expires, and then click Next.
  9. Click Finish.

How to Remove a Domain User or Group in the server

To remove a domain user or group

  1. In the Users / Groups window, select a user or group.
  2. Click Remove. The user or group is deleted.
